Sara Venkatesh

Sara Venkatesh, PhD, is a Senior Quantum Architect at PsiQuantum since April 2024, specializing in research software engineering with a focus on C++ and Python for quantum error correction and architecture. Previously, from May 2021 to March 2024, Sara served as a Senior Software Engineer at MetLife Legal Plans, where technical leadership was provided in full stack projects related to claims processing and accounts payable, achieving significant performance improvements. Prior experience includes serving as the Szego Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Stanford University, leading interdisciplinary research collaborations and teaching linear algebra, and being a Member at the Institute for Advanced Study, where cross-discipline research was conducted. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Caltech and a PhD in Mathematics from Columbia University.
