Vijay Jain

Vijay Jain is a highly experienced engineer and researcher specializing in quantum systems and nano-physics. Currently serving as a Staff Systems Engineer at PsiQuantum since August 2022, Vijay has held various titles including Manager of Sub-systems Test and Senior Quantum Systems Engineer. Prior to that, Vijay was a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University, focusing on crystalline vibrations and quantum memory development in the Schoelkopf Lab. With previous postdoctoral experience at ETH Zurich and roles such as Venture Research at Naissance Capital, Vijay has conducted significant research in growth equity for start-ups. Vijay holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ETH Zürich and further advanced degrees in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Rochester and Harvard University, respectively.
