Michael Stephen Pe

Michael Stephen, PE, is a Geotechnical Engineer with experience at Freeport Indonesia since May 2018, where responsibilities include providing geotechnical assessment and analysis for surface mines and supporting mining infrastructure, as well as overseeing monitoring instrumentation installations. Prior to this role, Michael undertook a student internship at PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara in early 2017, focusing on geotechnical mapping and data collection to analyze the impact of structural geology on slope stability at the Batu Hijau mine. Michael holds an undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering from Universitas Gadjah Mada, completed in 2017.
