Toon van Gool

Toon van Gool is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in commercial development and marketing within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director at PTC Therapeutics, Inc., Toon has held multiple leadership roles, including head of commercial development and marketing for gene therapy across the EMEA region. Prior experience includes a tenure as Global Brand Director at Vifor Pharma, where strategic direction was provided for areas such as Woman’s Health and Gastroenterology. Additional positions at Straumann, Marketing Consult Plus GmbH, Biogen Idec, and Novartis highlight a robust history of driving product launches and marketing strategies. Toon holds an MBA from NIMBAS, Bradford and an MSc in Biopharmaceutical Sciences from Leiden University.
