Vania Delchot-Watchman is an experienced professional in health, safety, environment, and quality management, currently serving at Suriname Alcoholic Beverages NV since November 2014 in various roles including Health Safety Environment and Quality Manager, Chemical Technician, Quality Control Supervisor, and Head Quality Control/Coordinator Barrel Warehouse. Additionally, Vania has been a lecturer at SMART Suriname Business Academy and PTC- University of Applied Sciences since 2018 and 2022, respectively. Prior experience includes working as a Chemist at Ordening Goudsector/Geologisch Mijnbouwkundige Dienst from 2012 to 2014, and as a Medical Analyst at Medilab in 2011-2012. Vania holds a Master of Business Administration from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi and a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Chemistry from Polytechnic College Suriname. Further educational achievements include training at Instituut voor de Opleiding van Leraren and attendance at E.P Meyer Lyceum.

Het PTC, opgericht in 1997, is een hogere technische beroepsopleiding waar project- en praktijkgericht onderwijs, kennis én technische innovatie voorop staan. Erkend door de staat Suriname, kent het PTC op dit moment drie sectoren. De sector Techniek is een 5-jarige avondopleiding met de studierichtingen Elektrotechniek, Infrastructuur en Werktuigbouwkunde, Informatie Communicatie Technologie, Hoger Laboratorium Onderwijs en Internationaal Ondernemerschap in de Agroketen. Afgestudeerden van deze studierichtingen dragen de titel Bachelor of Applied Technology (B.Tech).
