Stefan Niculescu

Stefan Niculescu is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in digital transformation and analytics. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science and Senior Director of Digital Transformation Solutions at PTC since July 2015, Stefan leads the Data Science Consulting team in delivering innovative solutions across various industries utilizing the ThingWorx IoT platform. Prior to PTC, Stefan was the General Manager of Healthcare at ColdLight, where strategic oversight contributed significantly to revenue generation before the company's acquisition by PTC. From 2005 to 2015, Stefan held multiple senior roles at Siemens Healthcare, focusing on the development of advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions within a large healthcare customer base. Stefan holds a PhD and MSc in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bucharest.
