Giorgio Maltempi is a Senior Software Engineer at PTV SISTeMA since April 2013, specializing in the design, development, and delivery of Traffic Real Time software products. With extensive experience in an international Scrum team, Giorgio contributed to the development of the PTV Optima product for real-time micro simulations. Prior to this role, Giorgio served as a Software Developer, managing international projects focused on customizing and delivering the PTV Optima software platform for real-time traffic monitoring, prediction, and control. Giorgio's career began with a Project Internship at Tecsit srl, where the Master's Degree Thesis involved developing the PLC system for the safety and control system of the National Laboratory of Gran Sasso. Additionally, Giorgio worked as a MATLAB tutor for the Calcolo I course at Università degli Studi Roma Tre, where degrees in Management and Automation Engineering and Computer Engineering in Automation were earned.
