Tania Ruiz has been with the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia since June 2001, where Tania holds the position of Sr. Software Engineer/Project Manager. Prior to their current role, Tania worked as the Directora de Informatica at Fundacion Puntos de Encuentro from October 1997 to December 1999. Tania obtained their Masters Degree in Computer Science from Universität Rostock in 1997. Currently, Tania plays a pivotal role in modernizing the software infrastructure and development of mission critical applications at the agency.
