Molly Peterson is an accomplished journalist and correspondent specializing in climate change and environmental issues. Currently serving as a correspondent for Public Health Watch since December 2023 and as a board member for the Society of Environmental Journalists from September 2024, Molly has extensive experience in freelance reporting since January 2002, contributing to notable outlets such as NPR, PRI, BBC, and others, focusing on environmental issues in various regions. Previously, Molly held positions as Editorial Project Manager at KQED and as a Science Reporter, where significant projects included "Older and Overlooked," addressing disaster risks for older Californians. Additionally, Molly co-hosted the acclaimed MAN-slaughter podcast for Wondery and engaged in community-focused reporting for projects like the City Heat Project and ISeeChange.
