Chanel Herbert is an experienced educator currently serving as a General Education Teacher at Public Preparatory Network since August 2021. Previously, Chanel worked as a 4th Grade ELA Teacher at Pharos Academy from October 2020 to July 2021 and as a Capitol Teaching Resident at KIPP DC: Leap Academy from July 2019 to July 2020. Chanel also gained early experience as a Camp Assistant at CAMBA and as an Assistant during the Summer Youth Employment program in 2015. Earlier roles include tutoring academically challenged children aged nine to fourteen in Math and English with Enhanced Thoughts LLC from 2012 to 2014. Chanel earned a Bachelor's degree from SUNY New Paltz between 2015 and 2019 and holds a High School Diploma from Repertory Company High School for Theatre Arts, graduated in 2015.
