H.c. Shin

H.C. Shin is the Chief Executive Officer at LG Chem since January 2019, bringing extensive experience from various leadership roles at 3M, where Shin has served as Vice Chair and Executive Vice President overseeing R&D, Supply Chain, BT/IT, and Business Development since February 2011. Previously, Shin held the position of Executive Vice President for 3M's International Operations, which generated $20 billion in revenue in 2013. Additionally, Shin has been a member of the board of directors for Public Service Enterprise Group since 2008 and has served as a board member for PSEG since April 2009, currently chairing the Nuclear Generation Committee and Fossil Generation Committee. Shin's earlier experience includes serving as Executive Vice President for 3M's Industrial Business Group from May 2005 to May 2011. H.C. Shin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University, graduated in 1979.
