Laura Mullaney

Laura Mullaney is an accomplished public relations professional with extensive experience in the theater industry. Currently serving as the Public Relations Manager at The Public Theater since March 2020, Mullaney has successfully led press strategies for numerous mainstage productions and annual free Shakespeare productions. Prior roles include Public Relations Coordinator at The Public Theater, where Mullaney secured features in prominent outlets and managed various press tasks. Mullaney's earlier experience includes positions as a Publicity Intern at Polk & Co., Communications Apprentice at Actors Theatre of Louisville, and Editorial Intern at Theatre Communications Group. Mullaney holds a Master’s degree in Performing Arts Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and English from Muhlenberg College. Additionally, Mullaney has participated in a study abroad program focused on physical theatre at Accademia Dell'Arte.
