Steve Vandergriff Jr. has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Steve began their career at US Auto Credit as an Adjustment Clerk from December 2012 to April 2015. Steve then moved on to VyStar Credit Union, where they held multiple roles starting from Collector I in April 2015 to Consumer Lending Systems & Data Analytics Manager from July 2022 to January 2023. During their time at VyStar Credit Union, Steve also served as the Lending Operations and Decision Support Analyst, Collections Operations Supervisor, Financial System Conversion Specialist, Collections Supervisor, GL & Vendor Relationship Coordinator, and Acting Collections Supervisor. In 2023, Steve joined Publix Employees Federal Credit Union as the VP of Lending.
Steve Vandergriff Jr. obtained an Associate's degree from Florida Community College at Jacksonville in the years 2007 to 2010. Steve then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Jacksonville University, which they completed between 2010 and 2014. In 2017 and 2018, Steve pursued a Master's degree in Data Analytics at Western Governors University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Aveta Business Institute in 2021, and Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate, SAS Statistical Business Analyst Using SAS 9: Predictive Modeling and Regression, and SAS Base Programmer for SAS 9 in 2018.
