Michael Garcia is an experienced IT Manager with over 25 years in the insurance and energy sectors. Currently serving as the IT Manager for Quality Assurance at Puget Sound Energy since February 2018, Michael has previously held roles such as IT Manager for Test Engineering at Liberty Mutual Insurance - Global Specialty, where leadership included establishing a centralized test team supporting various product areas. At Liberty Mutual Insurance - Liberty Mutual Agency Corporation, responsibilities encompassed managing a mixed FTE/vendor group focused on Quality Assurance across multiple platforms and functional areas. Earlier experiences at Safeco Insurance included roles as Application Development Manager and Quality Assurance Manager, overseeing testing teams and contributing to the establishment of a new Enterprise Web Portal organization. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Oregon State University.
