Euan Burns has extensive work experience in engineering and technology roles. Euan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Pulpex since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Group Technical Director at Pilot Lite from August 2020 to April 2023. Euan also held the position of Director at Navacent Limited from November 2017 to April 2023. Euan has worked in various sectors including Carillion, Thames Water, Goldman Sachs, BSkyB, and the Royal Navy. At Carillion, Euan served as the Chief Engineer for their services division and was responsible for developing their integrated energy-led hard service offerings. Euan also worked as the Head of System Investment Planning at Thames Water and held the role of Chief Engineer at Carillion. Euan's career began in the Royal Navy as a Weapon Engineer.
Euan Burns holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, which they obtained between 1992 and 1996. Euan also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Guided Weapon Systems from Cranfield University, which they completed in 2005. Additionally, they have obtained the Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification from IET, Inc.
