Troy Howard

Troy Howard is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in technical content engineering, community development, and non-profit leadership. Currently serving as Principal Technical Content Engineer at Pulumi and CEO of Cicada Alley, LLC, Troy focuses on creating community spaces and commercial opportunities in St. Louis. As Chairman of the Board for Meals On Us PDX, Troy oversees the provision of over 1,000 meals daily to homeless shelters in Portland. Previous roles include Developer Ecosystem Strategist at Union.ai and Senior Developer Advocate at Sumo Logic, where Troy engaged with the observability community and contributed to open-source initiatives. Troy has a notable history with Twitter as a Documentarian, striving for excellence in technical documentation, and has co-founded several conferences, including ML4ALL, .NET Fringe, and NodePDX, aimed at promoting accessibility and inclusivity in the tech community. Furthermore, Troy served as a Committer for the Apache Lucene .Net project at The Apache Software Foundation.
