Balan brings with him over twenty years of work experience gained in the public and private sectors. He has extensive experience with governance and compliance matters regulating the blockchain and fintech space. As a practising Singaporean lawyer, he has prevailed in novel cryptocurrency related disputes litigated in the High Court of Singapore and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. Balan received his B.Soc.Sci (Political Science) (Hons) and LLB (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (NUS).
