Apurv Nigam has a diverse range of work experience in the field of AI, computer vision, and software development. Their most recent position was as the Head of AI and Computer Vision at Pupil, a spatial data company, where they led a talented team of researchers in digitizing real estate data using machine learning and computer vision techniques. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Ola, where they focused on research and development. Apurv also has experience as a Technical Lead in Computer Vision at CaratLane, where they led the personalization experience of a virtual try-on feature for earrings. Apurv served as a Tech Architect at CommonFloor.com, leading efforts in computer graphics and image processing for real estate products. Earlier in their career, Apurv worked as a Research and Development Engineer at Samsung Electronics, focusing on delivering seamless visual experiences on smart televisions. Apurv began their career as a Researcher at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked on various projects including developing Linux-based OSes and customizing the graphics layer of Android.

Apurv Nigam has a degree in B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. Apurv completed this degree between 2005 and 2009. Later, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Vision from UCL, which they obtained in 2017.
