Rauf Kareem

Rauf Kareem is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently working at Pure Watercraft since June 2023, focusing on the design of mechanical and thermal systems for electric personal watercraft, including product definition, design, build, and validation. Previously, Rauf served as a Test Engineer Intern at Pure Watercraft from June 2022 to December 2022, where test planning and execution were conducted, including developing a test plan for the nail penetration test that informed next-generation battery pack design. Rauf's experience also includes a contract position as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Advanced Systems Laboratory-DRDO from November 2016 to November 2020, during which a 30% weight reduction in missile re-entry vehicles was achieved through the use of composites. Rauf holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from Osmania University.
