James Hathaway

James Hathaway is an experienced professional in international strategy and franchising, currently serving as the Group International Strategy & Franchising Director at PureGym since January 2021. Prior to this role, James worked as an Independent Consultant focusing on retail and consumer sectors from January 2020 to January 2021, advising notable clients such as Paperchase and Russell & Bromley. James has held key international positions at L.K.Bennett and T.M.Lewin from 2014 to 2019 and gained extensive experience at Marks and Spencer from 1995 to 2014, where roles included Head of International Brand and Country Manager for Asia. Academic qualifications include a Certified Diploma in Accounting & Finance from ACCA and a BA Hons in Politics from Newcastle University.
