Prior to this, they served as the SVP Technology at Purple from December 2022 to February 2024. Iain also held the role of Head of Technology at Purple from September 2013 to December 2022. Before joining Purple, they were the Director of Technology at Fast Web Media from September 2005 to September 2013. Iain has also served as a Senior Programmer at Global Investment Group from June 2003 to August 2005. Additionally, Iain worked as a Developer at PA Sportinglife from September 2000 to March 2003, as a Developer at Sense Internet from January 2000 to June 2000, as a Developer at Press Association from September 1998 to December 1999, and as a Programmer at Timeform from September 1996 to August 1999.
Iain Jewitt attended Bangor University from 1995 to 1996, where they studied Linguistics. Prior to that, they attended Pontefract NEW College from 1993 to 1995 and Normanton Freeston High from 1989 to 1993. Iain also has a certification as a Sitecore certified developer.
