Video Producer

PURPLE is searching for an experienced, Video Producer to join or Lehi, Utah team. As a Producer at PURPLE, you will own and oversee a workflow that outputs a large quantity of Promotional, Social and Brand videos produced for web, mobile and broadcast. You are a leader who is organized, flexible, and has a great sense of process and communication. You are experienced in pre-production, production, and postproduction workflows, story, and timelines. You understand what it takes in both time and talent to deliver top-tier quality storytelling and intimate knowledge of crews, script breakdowns and vendors to bring a production to life. You will manage a producing team and understand when to out-source to accomplish departmental and company goals. You can easily navigate an existing process and personalities but are always on the lookout for creating efficiencies. You are great at communication and anticipation as you will be working in tandem with the existing producing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Directly oversee and book all aspects of production from crew to vendors.
• Work with production, editorial, and client stakeholders to set appropriate project timelines for video deliverables
• Source and hire freelancers as needed.
• Establish a roster of local and out-of-state crew.
• Be the source on budget and reconciliation.
• Own the production schedule and scheduling.
• Be process driven, but not driven by the process.
• Be detailed and meticulous.
• Communicate clearly and effectively so that all stakeholders understand their role
• Screening videos, noting feedback, and revising as needed
• Update and maintain tracking documents and work management tools
• QC everything being published to ensure that it meets all creative, brand and legal requirements.
• Create schedules and work to ensure that the team meets all milestones.
• Love what you do, and share that positivity with the team

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a producer role.
• Advanced knowledge of crews, vendors, agencies and rates.
• Have a rolodex of production contacts and always be establishing new relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
• Familiar with all aspects of the production process including but not limited to, story editing, color, audio, motion graphics, layout, delivery, and archiving and cataloging.
• Be inclusive, kind, and hardworking.
