Manuel Kaal

Manuel Kaal is a political strategist and campaign manager at PvdA since September 2022. Currently pursuing a PhD at Universiteit Leiden, the research focuses on explaining the success of new political parties during the 2021 Dutch parliamentary elections. Previously, Kaal worked as a client consultant at Kantar Public from April 2015 to August 2022, conducting quantitative electoral and opinion research for various institutions. Kaal also held marketing and internship roles, including as a marketing coordinator at Bohemian Birds and completed placements at Raad voor Cultuur and Fresh Forward. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Sociology from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor's in Communication from Hanze. Kaal's diverse experiences also include extensive travel as a backpacker, covering multiple continents and cultures.
