Mr. Gautam Dutta, CEO of PVR Ltd. is a seasoned professional with 28 years of experience. He joined PVR in 2006 as the Chief Marketing Officer.
In his years with PVR, he has managed various portfolios, under his leadership Media Sales pegged from 7 Cr. to 440 Cr. in 2018. Mr. Dutta launched bluO, the largest bowling chain in India that redefined bowling as a popular lifestyle and entertainment sport in the country. As CEO, Mr. Gautam Dutta is responsible for advancing the company’s mission and objectives whilst keeping the brand relevant to the changing audiences, developing and monitoring strategies for ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organization, promoting revenue & profitability, technology adoption & innovation. As Director of Zee Maize Pvt. Ltd. a subsidiary of PVR Limited, Gautam is accountable for overseeing the vision, growth plan and profitability of 4700BC- a Gourmet Popcorn brand.
He is the recipient of the CEO with HR Orientation award in the 2018 edition of the World HRD Congress, presented by Times Ascent. A recipient of the CEO of the Year by ET Now Global Awards for retail excellence (multiplex, cinemas & entertainment category)
A Delhi University pass out, Gautam started his career in Sales and has about 18 years of advertisement experience. He started his career with Lowe Lintas, the advertising division of Mullen Lowe Lintas Group, where he spent 8 years. Later he moved to Saatchi & Saatchi. Prior to joining PVR, Gautam was the Vice President-Brand Services for 3 years in Rediffusion DY & R.
