Shekar Chandra

Shekar Chandra is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product development and IT systems management across various companies in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as Director of Product Development at Pyro Group since August 2013, Shekar previously held key roles at Airtel Africa, where leadership in the GSMA Award-winning mobile commerce program, Airtel Money, and the strategic outsourcing of IT contributed to significant revenue growth. With a solid foundation in IT and billing management from roles at Zain Group, Celtel International, Celtel Uganda Ltd., and J.T. Mobiles, Shekar has a proven track record of executing innovative solutions and enhancing service delivery in the African market. Academic qualifications were obtained from Osmania University.
