Brian Wintz

Brian Wintz is a seasoned Software Architect and Senior Software Development Manager at QAD Inc. since 1995, overseeing a team of senior developers and playing a pivotal role in the Architect Council. Wintz has extensive experience in agile development, focusing on transitioning customer-facing functionality of ERP systems to web-based applications and modular apps for SaaS migration, integrating eCommerce products, and implementing automated testing solutions. Prior to QAD, Wintz held software engineering positions at Team Software and Frontier Technology Inc., where significant contributions included managing teaching credential applications, developing military simulation software, and designing communication systems for portable computers. Wintz began a career in electronics engineering at the Electronic Warfare Test Division, offering a strong foundation in diagnostic tools for aircraft avionics. Wintz holds a degree from UC Santa Barbara.
