Olof Kindgren

Olof Kindgren is a seasoned Senior Digital Design Engineer at Qamcom since May 2013, specializing in advanced electronics, high-speed communication interfaces, RTL design, SoC architecture, and embedded software development. Olof co-founded the Free and Open Source Silicon (FOSSi) Foundation in October 2015, serving as Director to promote open digital hardware designs. As a Co-founder and Advisor at ChipFlow since January 2021 and an Open Source Silicon Developer since February 2010, contributions have included RTL design for the OpenRISC project and development of tools for open source computing platforms. Previous experience includes FPGA design and consulting roles at Saab, Ericsson, Prevas AB, and ÅF AB, as well as a solid academic background with an M.Sc.EE in Integrated Electronic System Design from Chalmers University of Technology.
