Mohammed Al-Emadi is an accomplished finance and investment professional with extensive experience spanning various sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Investment at Qatar Development Bank since March 2020, Mohammed oversees over $100 million in venture capital and private equity, managing a direct portfolio of more than 35 companies. In parallel, Mohammed founded and chairs Perfection Manufacturing, a leading wood manufacturing and project management company established in 2015 to contribute to Qatar's 2030 vision. Prior roles include Senior Finance Advisor at Shell, where strategic partnerships with Qatar Petroleum were supported, and serving as a board member with Qatari medical device manufacturer Qatar German Medical Devices Company. Mohammed's academic credentials include a Master of Law in International Law and Foreign Affairs from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, an MBA in Global Finance and Banking from SBS Swiss Business School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Leeds Beckett University.

Qatar Development Bank (QDB) is a fully owned government financial entity set up by an Emiri Decree to invest in and develop local industries by supporting Small and Medium Enterprises (SME’s) in Qatar. QDB realigned its strategy to that of Qatar National Vision 2030 to promote and facilitate the development and growth of SME’s in core economic sectors that will result in long-term socio-economic benefits to the people of Qatar. In addition to providing financial assistance, the banks’ other main focus is to provide advisory support and guidance to SME’s on how to start up, grow and expand their activities, with the aim of developing a sustainable economy. QDB recently launched an added service under TASDEER or Qatar Export Development Agency (QEDA) to provide export financing and business development and promotion support to Qatar based SME exporters.
