Currently serving as Director of Governments & Cash at Qatar Investment Authority since January 2017, Afif manages the internal Global government portfolios. Previously, Afif held leadership positions at Putnam Investments, including Portfolio Manager and Head of Portfolio Construction, and invested as Principal at INVESTCORP. Early career experience includes roles at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) as a Quantitative Portfolio Manager and Lecturer in Finance at HEC Montréal. Afif holds a Master’s degree in Finance from HEC Montréal.
