Danish Bhatti, CFA, currently serves in the Treasury department at Qatar Investment Authority since August 2021. Prior to this, Danish held Key positions at Ooredoo Group from October 2013 to July 2021, including Senior Manager in Corporate Finance and overseeing Group Treasury functions, with a notable achievement of raising over USD 5 billion through various financing strategies. Additionally, Danish was responsible for FX and interest rate risk management as the head of Group Treasury Front Office. Earlier experience includes roles as an FX Trader at Habib Metropolitan Bank and within Treasury and Risk Management functions in training capacities. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Political Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences and a Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Harvard Extension School.
