Abdullahi Ahmed BSc, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over three companies. Abdullahi started their career at Santander UK in 2002 as an Analyst. Abdullahi then moved on to Sharjah Islamic Bank, where they held the positions of Senior Research Analyst and Manager of Research & Analysis from 2006 to 2011. Currently, they are working at Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) as the Senior Executive Manager and Head of Business Intelligence since April 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Manager and Head of Business Intelligence at QIB from 2011 to 2019.
Abdullahi Ahmed completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and Finance from Brunel University London, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. After gaining their undergraduate degree, Abdullahi pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance from Heriot-Watt University. Abdullahi attended Heriot-Watt University from 2008 to 2010 to complete their postgraduate studies.
