Giridhara R Babu

Giridhara R Babu is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of public health, currently serving as a Professor of Global Health at Qatar University since 2023 and as a Visiting Professor at Maastricht University since April 2017. Babu's previous roles include Professor and Head of Lifecourse Epidemiology at the Public Health Foundation of India from October 2018 to December 2022, and Wellcome Trust-DBT Intermediate Research Fellow in Public Health from August 2014 to August 2022. Notably, Babu served as an academic administrator and additional professor at the Public Health Foundation of India and has held various academic positions at renowned institutions such as Manipal University and UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
