Gita Febriany is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Senior Geophysicist at QatarEnergy since March 2019. In this role, Gita oversees geoscience efforts for deepwater non-operating assets across multiple regions, including South Africa, Oman, Brazil, Congo, Namibia, and the East Mediterranean. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Development Geophysicist at Murphy Oil, where Gita contributed to several deepwater oil and gas development projects, and roles at Maersk Oil, Hess Corporation, and Unocal Indonesia, focusing on geophysical studies, well planning, and operational support. Gita began the professional journey with an internship at Total E&P and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
