Pieter Staal currently serves as an Embedded Software and Digital Design Engineer at Q*BIRD B.V. since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an FPGA Engineer at Optiver from June 2022 to September 2023, and as an Engineer at QBayLogic between November 2021 and April 2022. Pieter also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Twente from April 2020 to August 2021, and held software development positions at Fortes, including Front and Backend Software Developer from April to July 2019 and Frontend Web Developer from December 2017 to August 2018. Additional roles include another stint as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Twente in 2017 and serving as Secretary for Vereniging Campus Kabel from November 2016 to November 2017. Pieter holds a Master's degree in Embedded Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Technical Computer Science, both from the University of Twente, completed from 2020 to 2022 and 2016 to 2022, respectively.
