Fredrik Ulberstad has a diverse work experience. fredrik started their career in 1999 as the sole proprietor of Optiplan EF, which lasted until December 2000. Then, they worked at Optax Systems Inc. from December 1999 to November 2001, where they held the roles of Manager of Clinical Test Development and Director of European Affairs. In January 2003, Fredrik joined Qbtech AB as the Research Director. Their most recent position was as a PhD student at Karolinska Institutet from January 2015 onwards.

Fredrik Ulberstad completed their Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Gothenburg from 1995 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Experimental Psychology at the same institution for the academic year 1997-1998.
