João Neves

João Neves is an experienced clinical study lead specializing in precision medicine and oncology trials at QIAGEN since November 2022, where responsibilities include leading study design, strategy, and coordination with various stakeholders. Previously, João served as a portfolio manager and study design lead at Labcorp Drug Development from November 2019 to November 2022, focusing on client relations and global project management for clinical trials. A postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology prior to that, involvement included preclinical drug development, while earlier experience includes roles at nowScience as a co-founder, and as a Marie Skłodowska Curie early stage researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique. João's educational background comprises a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Lille and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidade do Porto.
