Rohit Haldar

Rohit Haldar is a Senior Research Assistant at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, where involvement in the project "Understanding host/parasite interactions in malaria" includes confocal microscopy imaging to track murine primary T-cell localization in malaria-infected mouse spleens. Previously, Rohit worked as a Research Assistant at Sugar Research Australia Limited, focusing on CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology in genetically modified sugarcane variants. Additionally, Rohit completed a UQ Winter Scholar program at the UQ Queensland Brain Institute, analyzing MRI scans of adolescent twins. Rohit holds a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai.
