C. Wayne Summers

C. Wayne Summers is a highly experienced Remote Sensing and Imaging Scientist currently working at QinetiQ US since January 2020, with a strong focus on R&D efforts. Summers has an extensive background in the field, having previously served at Manufacturing Techniques, Inc. from February 2015 to January 2020 and as a Senior Scientist at Logos Technologies, Inc. and SAIC, holding subject-matter expertise in hyperspectral remote sensing, photogrammetry, and GIS. Summers has also held the position of Director of Training and Education at Aquatic Adventures Scuba Academy since July 1999, overseeing instructor development and recreational certification programs. Educational qualifications include an MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester, and a BS in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
