William Blamey

William Blamey is the Chief Executive for the UK Defence sector at QinetiQ since June 2018, overseeing services for the UK Ministry of Defence, industry, and international allies. Previously, William served as Managing Director for both Maritime and Land, and LTPA at QinetiQ, focusing on delivering essential services to the UK MOD and its military branches. Prior experience at BAE Systems includes managing the submarines division and directing the Dreadnought submarine programme, along with various roles in programme and supply chain management since 1997. William holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Royal Holloway, University of London, and completed advanced leadership courses at Harvard University and INSEAD.
