Bruno Matsuyama

Bruno Matsuyama is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in protein science and recombinant protein production. Currently serving as New Product Lead and previously holding roles such as Senior Protein Scientist and Production Lead at Qkine since June 2022, Bruno has developed expertise in construct design, protein expression, and purification of growth factors while implementing parallelisation protocols. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Universidade de São Paulo, where Bruno identified expression and purification conditions for Xanthomonas citri proteins, coupled with research as a visiting researcher at the Research Complex at Harwell. Bruno holds a Ph.D. from Universidade de São Paulo, where significant achievements included optimizing protein crystallization and modifying bacterial genomes.
