Sara Carver

Sara Carver is an experienced optical systems research engineer currently employed at QLM Technology Ltd since July 2023. Previously, Carver held the position of EO Systems Engineer at MBDA for a brief period in early 2023 and served as a Senior Optical Engineer at OptaSense from 2016 to early 2023, where responsibilities included leading research and development for advanced Distributed Acoustic Sensing systems and managing a team while acting as Laser Safety Officer. Carver's career began with a role at Cymtec in 2012 as an Optical Design Engineer, followed by a research scientist position at Cardiff University, contributing to projects focused on optical instruments.
