Leo Sandler

Director, AI Ethics at QMIND

Leo Sandler is the founder of the Think Tank and Director of Design, AI Ethics at QMIND, where efforts focus on advancing AI ethics through various initiatives. Currently, Leo also leads the Machine Learning Team at the Queen's Cerebral Language Innovation Team, developing a brain-computer interface (BCI) with EEG data. Previous experience includes roles as a Data Science Intern at Haventree Bank, Teaching Assistant at Queen's University, and Software Engineer Intern at TD, along with positions at Payfirma, the Engineering Society of Queen's University, A51 / DigThisData, Davina's Swim House, and Camp Manitou Canada. Leo is pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering at Queen's University, having completed a High School Diploma from Greenwood College School.
