Robert Saborido is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the PR & Communications Manager for Spain at Qonto since July 2022, where responsibilities include developing a multi-channel external communications strategy and managing media relations to enhance brand awareness. Prior to this role, Robert held various positions at Banco Sabadell from December 2008 to June 2022, including PR & Communications Manager, where a strong media presence and corporate journalism skills were established. Additional experience includes serving as an HR Senior Data Analyst and as a Developer at The Rossinis, where editorial skills in content writing and social media management were utilized. Robert holds a Master’s degree in Communications Management from UPF Barcelona School of Management and two degrees in Computer Science from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Qonto was born out of frustration. As new entrepreneurs, Alexandre and Steve felt bogged down by their own banking experience. It was time-consuming. It was complex. It also lacked the modern tools that progressive companies need. So, they decided to create a banking product fit for the modern entrepreneur. One that when you use it, just seems to "click". Our goal? To dust off the old banking experience and be the power pack for small businesses. We are driven by our desire to save our customers time. Time that they can reclaim for forging their own future. And that’s something we think is pretty valuable.
