Alan Ellis is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in analog, mixed-signal, and RF IC design. Currently serving as Member Technical Staff II at Qorvo, Inc. since July 2011, Alan focuses on designing RF integrated circuits for the Wireless Infrastructure product portfolio, including a GaN Power FET Controller. Prior roles include Principal Analog Design Engineer at R2 Semiconductor, developing power-efficient system control circuits for mobile handsets, and leadership positions at NanoAmp Solutions, Amalfi Semiconductor, and Agere Systems, where significant contributions were made to advanced circuit designs and methodologies. Alan also held various engineering positions at Infineon Technologies, National Semiconductor, Cirrus Logic, and Unisys Corporation, specializing in test development and product engineering. Alan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San José State University.
