James Palanca

James Palanca is a highly skilled RFIC Physical Design Engineer currently employed at Qorvo, Inc. since March 2023, after serving as a Senior Staff Engineer in Layout Design at Spreadtrum from July 2022 to February 2023. James has extensive experience at Qorvo, holding various positions since January 2015, where responsibilities included layout support for Antenna Control Solutions. Prior to Qorvo, James worked as a Senior Layout Engineer at TriQuint Semiconductor, effectively leading CMOS projects and providing full custom layout design. Earlier roles include contributions to Qimonda and Rohm LSI Design Philippines, focusing on IC mask design layout and custom layouts for memory products. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering from New Era University in 1997.
