Russ McKinney

Russ McKinney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the electronics and telecommunications fields. Currently serving as a Technical Group Leader at Qorvo, Inc. since October 2014, responsibilities include leading a team in advanced development initiatives and expanding expertise in mmWave technology. Previously held the position of Engineering Specialist Tech at RFMD, where device integration and characterization for cellular applications were key focuses. Prior to that, McKinney accrued experience as a Sr Engineering Technician and RF Technician at RF Micro Devices, contributing to transceiver verification and early-stage RF designs. McKinney's career began in the aerospace sector as an Automatic Flight Controls Technician for a subcontractor of Boeing, supporting military flight control systems. McKinney holds an AAS in Electronics and Fiber Optics from New River Community College.
