The Quad Preparatory School
Kristen Birnbaum is an experienced Occupational Therapist, who has worked at The Quad Preparatory School as a Supervising Occupational Therapist. Kristen has also worked at SPOTS as an Occupational Therapist and has a background in education, having previously worked as a First Grade Lead Teacher at Success Academy Charter Schools. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Human Development from Boston College and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University. Kristen has a diverse range of experience, including volunteer work, administrative roles, and leadership positions in various educational and therapeutic settings.

We believe that social and emotional learning expertise lies in clinical practice, and so we strive to “raise up” those children whose social cognition, anxiety, executive functioning and self-esteem may have been eroded due to prior school experiences insufficient for their needs.
