Katherine Pedersen

Katherine Pedersen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Katherine began their career in 2007 as a Project Coordinator at Advantage Design Services, where they quickly advanced to the role from Sales Assistant. In 2009, they worked as a Project Manager at Optiem, LLC, overseeing project progress and acting as a liaison with outside vendors. In 2010, they joined Dr. Michael Schodowski, D.D.S., Inc. as a Financial & Scheduling Coordinator, responsible for managing invoices, claims, and patient benefits. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Cleveland Clinic as an Account Representative II, collaborating with departments to implement payer-specific requirements and reporting aging balances and payment inconsistencies. Currently, they are employed at Quadax, Inc. since 2015, where they have held roles such as Business Analyst, Assistant Manager, and Project Analyst in the Revenue Cycle Services division. Their responsibilities at Quadax include research of payers' EDI transaction capabilities, client setup for electronic remittance advice and funds transfer, and creating reference guides for electronic transaction processing using Quadax's system.

Katherine Pedersen completed their education at The University of Akron from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Marketing & Sales Management. Prior to that, they attended Bay High School from 1999 to 2003 and received a Diploma in General Studies. In addition to their formal education, Katherine Pedersen obtained a certification in "Excel: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners" from LinkedIn in February 2023.
