Matt Cranston

Matt Cranston is an accomplished engineering and facilities manager with extensive experience in project management and technical expertise. Currently serving as Manager of Engineering and Facilities - North America at Quaker Houghton since September 2019, Matt oversees the Regional Capital Program for 15 locations, focusing on budgeting, project approvals, and capital targets. Prior roles at Quaker Chemical Corporation included Project Engineer III, where project management spanned budgets from $10,000 to over $2 million, and Chemical Management Launch Manager, facilitating the start-up of automotive chemical management sites. Previous internships with Union Pacific Resources and Marathon Petroleum Corporation provided early exposure to drilling and refinery engineering. Matt holds an MBA from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
