Yogi Chiniga is the Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm. Yogi has been with the company since February 1997 and has held the position of Director of Engineering since February 2009. In their current role, they lead a team of engineers responsible for developing and commercializing the world’s first WCDMA mobile phone. Yogi has also hired, trained, and led embedded SW engineers for WCDMA, device drivers, and BSP areas to commercialize several OEM/ODM mobile phones, shipping in millions of units. In addition, they have initiated and contributed to the development and deployment of debug tools and analysis scripts. Yogi has also enabled and sustained technology partnerships with Tier-1 OEMs.

After high school, Yogi Chiniga attended Bangalore University, where they earned a BS in engineering. Yogi then went on to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where they earned an MS in computer science.
